Cancer survivor, 7-time Tour de France Champion.
Oakley is proud to team up with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which unites people in the fight against cancer. With your purchase of the LIVESTRONG™ special edition eyewear, Oakley will provide $20 to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in support of their mission. To date, your purchases of LIVESTRONG™ eyewear have contributed more than $1,400,000 to the fight against cancer.
Oakley’s legacy of sports performance innovation continues with the new JAWBONE™. The latest evolution of a coveted design, this frame is like nothing ever seen in the world of sports. Every aspect is engineered around the clarity and protection of HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®).
Pivot the nose piece to unlock the lower jaw and open it for easy lens changing. There’s minimal handling involved, so dirty fingers don’t get all over the lens. The quick-release system closes with a cam that locks each lens securely in place.
Oakley engineered the pivoting system with a release mechanism that lets you remove and replace the nose piece with a different size to customize the fit. A comfortably secure fit is essential for athletic competition, so Oakley started this new design with the company’s legendary Three-Point Fit. Instead of hooking the ears like conventional frames, a Three-Point Fit ensures the frame touches the wearer only at the bridge of the nose and the sides of the head. Oakley combined the proprietary fit with specialized bridge geometry and strategically placed flex zones to give the frame a broad range of flexibility while directing stresses away from the lenses. That way, the optics can do their job without the distortion of subtle bending and bowing.
Oakley is proud to partner with the Lance Armstrong Foundation in support of its ongoing mission to inspire and empower people affected by cancer. When you purchase the LIVESTRONG™ edition of Oakley eyewear, the company will provide $20 to the foundation.
Oakley SWITCHLOCK™Technology for an interchangeable lens design that helps you keep up with changing light conditions and maximize performance in any environment.
UNOBTAINIUM®stem sleeves for a secure fit that increases grip with perspiration.
Durable yet comfortably lightweight O MATTER®frame material that optimizes protection while maintaining a flexible fit.
Interchangeable nose piece for a customizable fit.
Unbeatable clarity and visual fidelity with the patented innovations of HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®), optimized by an entirely new frame architecture that translates frame stresses away from the lenses.
Full range of optional lens tints for glare reduction, improved color perception, enhanced contrast and optimized depth perception.
Convenience and clarity of Oakley HYDROPHOBIC™ a permanent lens coating that repels dust while maintaining a smudge-resistant barrier against skin oils, fingerprints, lotions and sunscreens and even repels water to prevent streaks and sheens from corrupting your vision.
Shaun White Signature Series A FRAME Goggles
You start with a 1/3 striped print design as unique as his style. Then you add HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) for unbeatable clarity, 100% UV filtering and unsurpassed impact protection. And you make sure it includes the performance of dual vented lenses with Oakley’s F3 anti-fog technology and the all-day comfort of moisture wicking triple-layer polar fleece foam. The end result isn’t just a nod to big air. It’s a salute to an athlete who’s bigger than life.
NEW Oakley Pit Boss - Elite Collection
A Four Part Act
No two plates are the same. The components involved required a ton of developmental work. And the process of putting it all together necessitated advanced, manual hand work. Add it all up: it had never been done before.
O Matter + Titanium
The forged titanium plates get stamped seven times. Each stamp comes backed by more than 200 tons of pressure. They’re also annealed at 700 degrees Celsius. Then they get snapped onto the O Matter® stems.
Orbital Screw
The slightest bit of stress can make HDO go crazy. So the front orbital screw takes stress off the lenses to make sure you see clearly.
Hexalobular
Machining the Mushroom: weld, buff, mill, buff. Rinse and repeat. Equipping with High Definition Optics® was no easy feat.
M-Frame In Afghanistan
Late September 2008.
As the pictures show, his injuries were extensive. Thankfully, one thing was protected to the highest degree.
“I was covered with engine oil and other fluids – not to mention debris from the explosion. My face and forehead were burnt, but not my eyes. I believe this was due to the glasses I was wearing.”
SSG Downing thinks they were M-FRAME A, but he can’t be positive. We don’t really care – serving the needs of our troops isn’t something that’s relegated to any one pair of our sunglasses.
“Thank you for making such a quality product that can stand up to modern day warfare.”
We can’t thank SSG Downing – and all his teammates – enough.
Oakley Carbon Fiber Sunglass Coming Soon
Oakley C SIX™ will soon be unveiled, and it has been a long time coming. Until now, the technologies of structural engineering were simply not advanced enough. When you see the most technically innovative sunglass ever created, you will understand why the wait was worth it.
Using carbon fiber was one of the greatest challenges. The material is ultra lightweight and has three times the tensile strength of steel, but no one had ever before utilized it this way.
Specialists in building F1 racecars, the experts at Crosby Composites of London have been producing C SIX frames with meticulous craftsmanship. To make just one, five-axis Computer Numeric Controlled machines spin diamond-tipped milling heads at 10,000 rpm, shaping a 40-layer billet of carbon fiber composite for more than 24 hours.
To deal with the rigid nature of finished components, Oakley engineered spinal structures of Beta Titanium memory metal to achieve precise zones of tuned flexibility. Radial cams augment the stem mechanics, and the lenses are a showcase of the best optical technologies ever invented.
The result is C SIX, a premier design in the new ELITE Collection and a technological masterpiece that elevates eyewear to the pinnacle of engineering. And it is coming soon.

Sneek preview of Oakley's Collectors edition watch
How do you gauge the world as it screams past in a blur? You slice up the seconds and seize the day. Oakley created a new invention that uses multiple sub dials to help you get a handle on the moment. When the world sees this work of art and engineering, they’ll understand what inspired it.
Put yourself in the cockpit of a speed machine and imagine all the instrumentation that speaks to you second by second, revealing itself with gauges that let you peer into the heart of performance. You don’t have to be a fighter pilot or racecar driver to know that just the sight of those dials is a pure adrenalin rush. Now imagine the same thing on your wrist.
The world tends to move with velocity, so if you think it’s time to take life out of the slow lane, you could probably use the calibration of fine instrumentation. It’s coming soon in the time machine called 12 Gauge, the new measure of precision and mark of style.

Ray-Ban Sunglasses are Hot in September
Market leaders, Ray-Ban, have increased their vice-like grip on the fashion sunglasses market though the very successful ‘colorize’ marketing campaign. Started early 2009, the campaign focuses upon the superb Wayfarer, Clubmaster, Cat’s, Jackie Ohh and Aviator styles encouraging wearer’s to ‘never hide’. The bold and bright colours have seen truly genius colour combos such as crystal red on white and Star Sunglasses favourite, black on an azure blue.
After its initial design in 1952, the Wayfarer® quickly endeared itself to Hollywood filmmakers, celebrities, musicians and artists, solidifying its iconic status for years to come. Today, Colorize your world! The Wayfarer® is available in a contemporary colour palette allowing the wearer to express a distinctive style and personality through this unmistakable look.
Both retro and timeless, the Clubmaster® is as fashionable today as it was when it was the eyewear of choice of counter-culture intellectuals and civil rights leaders. It is ideal for the generation that grew up with its classic curved lines as well as young whipper snappers who are discovering the iconic shape for the first time. The Clubmaster® is available in classic Black and Tortoise, along with new fashion color options such as Cobalt Blue Marble and Red Marble.
The shape is slightly reminiscent of the popular Wayfarer® style, but the large rounded lens shape separates the CATS 1000 from the other styles in the collection. With emphasis on character and style, these glasses represent the bold, unconventional heritage of Ray-Ban®.
A bold, distinct, modernized version of the classic feminine shape. Featuring rounded corners and a more deeper oversized lens shape than the original Jackie Ohh, this interpretation creates a contemporary look that takes up lots of real estate on the face. The Jackie Ohh II is available in exciting fashion colour palette with gradient lenses.
The shape that started it all. The Aviator is the brand staple originally designed for the U.S. military fighter pilots in 1937. Its timeless look with the unmistakable tear drop shaped lenses. This style allowed these sunglasses to quickly spread beyond their utility, becoming popular among celebrities, rock stars and citizens of the world alike. This is a iconic look that has endured for nearly a century.
